Developing and launching Amazon’s first foray into furniture is a tale of two brands: Rivet and Stone & Beam. Both brands had a similar target age demographic, but when it came to what urban professionals and suburban families wanted out of their furniture, they couldn’t have been more different. These two groups had completely disparate definitions of style, quality, and comfort, and we created two distinct brands to make them feel at home.
